When teen drug abuse becomes addiction
Since 1981 the Hazelden Center for Youth and Families has helped thousands of youth find freedom from alcohol and other drugs and regain hope for healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Situated on 15 picturesque, wooded acres along the north shore of Medicine Lake in Plymouth, Minnesota, HCYF provides the ideal setting to begin the journey to recovery.
Every young person holds incredible potential. Unfortunately, alcohol or other drug addiction can keep them from ever realizing it. Hazelden specializes in giving young people a fresh start and the tools to become their best. Hazelden's recovery programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each young person. We know that teens and young adults are most open to change when treated in an environment of dignity and respect. Our structured, yet nurturing environment encourages personal growth and responsibility. This unique approach has led to our recognition as a national leader in the treatment of teen alcohol and drug addiction.
As part of the world-renowned Hazelden organization, our Center for Youth and Families is able to draw on the talents, expertise and resources gained from more than half a century of dedication to restoring lives. With our committed, highly trained professionals, Hazelden offers the most current and successful approaches to treating alcohol and drug addiction.
